TUKLAS KALIKASAN 2013

The National Museum of the Philippines in collaboration with the City
Government of Tayabas, Quezon will hold a training/workshop entitled Tuklas
Kalikasan 2013 on April 10-13, 2013 at the Nawawalang Paraiso Resort and Hotel,
City of Tayabas, Quezon.

The Training-Workshop aims to:
  1. Disseminate to the participants the museum’s knowledge and scientific expertise in the area of natural history by providing  experiential learning in an outdoor environment;
  2. Encourage them better appreciation of nature and natural heritage conservation; and
  3. Strengthen them awareness of the vast cultural heritage.  The target participants to this activity are Science teachers, teacher-educators, students, nature lovers, environmentalists, tourists and museum enthusiasts from both public and private sectors.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled
Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance

Therewith.

Results of the 2012 National Qualifying Examination for school Heads



The DepEd through the National Academy of the PHilippines announces the Results of the 2012 National Qualifying Examination for school Heads which was simultaneously administered across the country on January 20, 2013..

The cut off score of the 2012 NQESH is placed at the percentile 90 based on the total standard scores obtained by the examinees in all performance domains covered by the examination.

Of the total 14567 test takers in the 212 NQESH a total of 1454 examinees met the cut off score of Percentile 90. The result can be accessed through the website containing

a. Comple name of the examinee
b. Region
c. Raw Score
d. Standard Score
e. Total raw and standard scores
f. Percentile rank

6. The 2012 SQESH contained a total of 270 items which were equitably spread across the 9 performance domains of school heads to include:

Personal Integrity and  Interpersonal sensitivity
English Language Proficiency
