The Mathematics Society of the Philippines (MSP), the Department of Science and Technology - Science Education Institute (DOST - SEI) and the DepED annonce the conduct of the 11 Philippines Math Olympiad (PMO) from October 2008 to January 2009.
Qalitfying Stage (OCt 18, 2008. This elimination stage is a 2 ours multiple choice examination consisting of 30 questions, 15 of these questions are worth 2 pts ea. 10 are worth 3 pts ea and 5 are worth 6pts. ea. There will be at least one testing site in each of the regions with qualifying participants.
Area Stage : Nov 22, 2008 It is 3 hours competition consisting of 20 Questions....There will be testing areas in each regions.
National Stage January 24, 2009. It is the writen and oral competition between the top 2o participants which will be held in Manila.
