SEMINAR ON NUCLEAR SCIENCE FOR HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE TEACHERS
The Nuclear Training Center (NTC) of the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute (PNRI) is now accepting applicants for its Seminar on Nuclear Science for High School Science Teachers (SHSHSST) from April 14 to May 16, 2014 during weekdays except on holidays at the PNRI, Commonwealth Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City.
The Seminar aims to:
1. upgrade the present status of and to meet the need for teaching of topics related to nuclear science at the secondary level; and
2. provide Science teachers with sufficient knowledge of the fundamentals of Nuclear Science and its beneficial applications.
The Seminar is open to all high school teachers of Science, Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry with Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Science and Engineering and those whose participation shall be endorsed by their respective heads or supervisors.
Applications should be submitted to the NTC on or before April 7, 2014. Final list of participants will be known by April 10, 2014.
