50TH Standard COURSE OF THE MASTER IN NATIONAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION


(MNSA) PROGRAM FOR ACADEMIC YEAR (AY) 2014-2015

The National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) is now accepting nominees
for its 50th Regular Course of the Master in National Security Administration (MNSA)
Program for Academic Year (AY) 2014-2015, which will meet on the first week of
October 2014.

The Course is a one-year full-time government-funded scholarship which comprises
of 37 units of multi-disciplinary programs relating to the political, economic, socio-cultural,
techno-scientific, environmental, and military dimensions of national safety; three
developing courses of national security administration, policy studies, research methods;
and a masters thesis.

The MNSA Program aims to develop the competencies, values, and abilities of key
officers and national safety leaders in the formulation and implementation of policiesassociated with national security and development.

The nominees are selected in their capacities as national security leaders with Salary Grade 18 and above or its similar. The civilian graduate students have preferential consideration for promotion or appointment to key positions in the government and the opportunity of being commissioned as Lieutenant Colonels or Commanders in the Reserve Force, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). In addition, the Career Executive Service (CES) Eligibility process required for the CES Eligibility has been integrated within the MNSA Program.


The due date for submission of names of competent candidates is on or before March 31, 2014. The MNSA Admission Tests (MNSAAT) are scheduled on the second week of April 2014. The application forms may be downloaded from www.ndcp.edu.ph and to be
submitted to the NDCP Registrar’s Office at least two weeks before the date of the examinations.
