National Conference of School Principals 2014

Tha Natioanl Association of Public Secondary Schools of the Philippines Inc. will hold the National Conference of School Principals with the theme  Responding to the Challenges of Senior High School Implementation from July 31 to Aug 2 2014 at the Bacolod Pavilion Hotel, Bacolod City.


The target participants are secondary school principals, school division and regional senior high school coordinator who will attend this conference on official business.

A registration fee of 3,000 shall bve charged to each participants to cover hotel accommodation, meals, conference kit, and other incidental expenses, chargeable to local funds, subjet to the  usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

11TH ANNUAL CONVENTION OF THE PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION OF EDUCATION SUPERVISORS (PAES), INC.

1. The ASSOCIATION OF EDUCATION SUPERVISORS (PAES), INC. will hold an 11th Annual Convention with the theme, "ES: The Caring Educators with a Mission for Learners' Excellence"

2. The Convention aims to:

  • A. provide a venue for articulation between and among education
    Supervisors on the K to 12 Program and other pressing issues;

  • B. update them on the current Deped program and thrusts;

  • C. equip them in the needed knowledge, skills and attitudes to be advocates, promoters, implementers, and monitors of the K to 12
    Program;

  • D. re-awaking their passion in achieving learners' excellence and;

  • E. strengthen and sustain the strong bond of relationship among the PAES members.

3. The participants of this activity are the Education Supervisors (ES) I (division) and ES II (region) and division/regional subject coordinators. Their attendance including the members of the working committees shall be on official time only.

4. A registration fee of Four Thousand Eight Hundred Pesos (PhP4,800.00) shall be charged to all participant including the members of the working committees to cover the expenses for the three (3) days hotel accommodation, meals, honoraria of speakers, convention kits and other expenses relative to conduct of this convention.

5. The participants are expected to register and check in at the venue from 7:00-10:00 a.m. of Day 1, February 1, 2012. The first meal to be served is breakfast on the said date and the last meal shall be packed snacks on the last day February 3, 2012. The participants who will check in prior to February 1 and check out after February 3 shall be at their expense.

6. All PAES officers and members are expected to arrive at the venue at 3:00 p.m. on January 31, 2012 for the conventions preliminaries. Enclosed is a copy of the schedule of activities together with the return slip.

Mathematics Related Training for Teachers and Student - UP Los Banos

MATH IN ACTION (MiA) 2012

The Society of Applied Mathematics of the University of the Philippines (SAM-UP) Los Banos will conduct the Math in Action (MiA) 2012 on January 14-15, 2012 at the Vargas Ground, Makiling National Scout Reservation (Jamboree), Los Banos, Laguna.

The undertaking aims to boost the students’ understanding and admiration of Mathematics and its application to the society.

The participants are the high school students and their teachers from the R-IV-CALABARZON and National Capital Region (NCR) areas.

Every student-participant shall be billed a application fee of Seven Hundred Pesos (PhP700.00) and for the teacher-participant is Five Hundred Pesos (PhP500.00) to pay for the expenses of meals, camping fee and materials.

Philippine Linguistics Congress

11th Philippine Linguistics Congress (11th PLC)

The Department of Linguistics, University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman will hold the 11th Philippine Linguistics Congress on December 7-9, 2011 at the Science and Technology Training Center (STTC), National Institute of Science and Mathematics Education Development (UP NISMED), UP Diliman, Quezon City.
This conference aims to:

1. emphasis on the most present improvements in the study of Philippine languages and in the application of linguistics concept to anthropology, sociology, psychology, language planning, translation and language education in the Philippines; and,

2. search into the modern day comparative research made among Philippine languages and foreign languages.

Gallileo 5E Seminar

Special Education SPED Expo 2009

The Etera Events will conduct a special education (sped) Expo on December 1, 2009 at the newly renovated Glorietta Activity Center with the theme "Special Education - A World of Opinions.

The objective of the event is to create awareness on the needs of special children and provide options for these individuals to ensure they live a happy and normal life.

The parents of special children, special education schools, therapy centers, toy manufacturers, interested bpo company,  suppliers of special tools and equipment. specialized food sellers, book publishers, and other SPED industry practitioners like teachers,doctors, therapist, writers, journalist among others are invited to attend this activity.

This Expo shall be for the benefit of Support and Manpower Abused Deaf Children (SEADC).  Simultaneous to this activity is the conduct of special education forum, story telling, games and performances.
