i would just like to request your department to check on the background of ditas de borja who is presently the teacher-in-charge of tuba elementary school, tuba, donsol sorsogon.

i have visited the barangay and i have been hearing negative things about her that would definitely give negative impact to the children. during my visit, i have observed that she does not conduct classes on mondays and fridays resulting to three-day classes only every week. the quality of education is being sacrificed. this could be one of the reasons why the municipality has very low literacy rate. aside from which she has been involved in sexual scandals and is known by the community people where she is teaching and so in its adjacent barangays. however, nobody has the courage to complain for the reason that the parents of the pupils are illiterate and they do not know where to complain.

i also want to inform your department that during my latest visit in the place, i heard her teaching her pupils the past forms of the verbs. it was so discouraging to hear from her that the past tense of the verb SHAKE is SHAKED. NAKAKALUNGKOT... a teacher teaching a wrong knowledge, a teacher not giving importance to education and to the future of her pupils,a teacher setting a bad example to her pupils....

May I ask for the new rule or requirement for aspiring let takers? I've heard that we need to have at least 36 units of educ subjects contrary to what I know. Is there any truth to that? When is the next LET so we know what to prepare for?

You are very much qualified to apply for public teacher. Send your credential to the principal nearest to you. Ranking of applicant teacher is being conducted before closing of classes. It is better if you pass early so that you will be in the first list.

I tried to inquire and send email to PRC official for your inquiry but so far i do not get reply. If you read the news about many test questions mistake then you will realize why it take time for them release the result. Do not worry. You will past the Li censure Examination for Teacher.

May i ask, when i applied in a public school, they texted me for exam. so i went for an exam but they didn't text me for demo. Is it my responsibility to make a demo eventhough they are not asking me to do so? I didn't make a 50 points because they didn't inform me to have a demo

The best thing you do is to visit the division office and get adviser from Division Supervisor.

However, there are times that even those teacher applicant with higher rank could not the position because of the specialization need of the school. Check if your specialization are much to the vacant position.

nope. they are looking for a teacher that is also my specialization. Our mayor too gave me recommendation. Im the second hoghest in exam. Im the highest in grades. But since, they didn't texted me for demo. I didn't make it for a 50 points. So that is there reason why im not hired.

If the requirements become 36 units therefore these are all education subject normally taken by BSE students. If my memory is right, Foundation 1 and 2, Principle of Teaching, Methods of Teaching, Strategy 1 and 2 and more. Ask the prospectus in your school

Hayyy... Got a lot of comments to make but let me do it one by one...
1. Its not that easy to remove a teacher from the service... (magna Carta for teachers)friends, teachers are also human beings capable of making mistakes... lets give her a chance.. and if you really are very concerned with the donsolanos then go to the district supervisor handling that TIC and file a proper and formal complain... make sure you have enough evidence..
2. Those asking for requirements for LET, if you really are interested to take the exam, then go to ur alma mater.. im pretty sure they can help you with the requiremetns or visit the nearest regional office for more info.
3. Those who want to join the system of DepEd, Visit the nearest school near you... submition will be this february (no exact date yet)
4. 18 units may still take the exam BUT if ur from the old curriculum, the last test that was given for the last curriculum was last september 2008, those who didnt pass, will take an aditional subjects just to be able to retake the exam.... ask ur alma mater 4 it...
5. there will be more remarks next tym...

Each school have specific requirement aside from DepEd's general requirement. It is better to visit the nearest school as per localization rules

hi! I would like to ask for your assistance in getting my professional License for teachers. I have been going to and fro different PRC offices both in Iloilo and Cebu and they cannot answer my querry.

Here's my situation:
Prior to taking my Let exam I am already a licensed nurse. I took the LET exam August 2001 in ILOILO ( coz im from San Carlos City, Negros Occidental) I passed the said exam but wasnt able to attend the oath taking ceremony. I received my board rating. Since I am practicing as a nurse i forgot about my license until 2 years ago when I was accepted as a secondary school teacher in one of the private schools in our place. I tried to go to Iloilo but they cannot found on record my application for licensure (since i did not attend oathtaking) they ask me to follow up. I stayed there for 3 days but nothing happened. Since ILoilo is far from our place I asked them if I can follow it up in Cebu (since I go there frequently and is much nearer) they said that since its first issuance it has to be filed there... Please accomodate me in getting my PRC license for teacher. I have no prob with my Nurses license since I periodically renew it...

Good evening! I am AJ Libacao, and I'd like to ask something about the license application process. I am one of the successful examinees in the September 2008 LET. Since I learned that I have passed the exam, I have been waiting for an update on when I can apply for a license -- until the time I had to leave for Qatar (my family's already there, and my dad finally got a residency visa for me, I arrived here last February 4). I'd like to know what steps I can take to pursue my application for license (if ever that's possible, even with my absence). Do the results get forfeited? Say, I won't be able to return to the Philippines in 1 year's time -- will I still have the chance to apply for a license? Or I would have to take the exam again? Please help me... You do not need to take LET exam since you are already passer. It will take time to get the license ID but the you can get the certification with in one day.

Im overseas and do tutorials...Im an accounting grad so meaning im a 2nd courser they told me that i just need 18 units for me to take the LET last 1998 but i enjoyed it so much so i enrolled all the educ subjects and volunterred to do in campus and off campus teaching job..well(3 years GAP)but i took my chances so i took LET 2001 and only read the reviewer from PNU but im from Davao City and has no idea about taking the exams and applications..so i went to the PRC office and apply for the BEED well, after i finished all the forms and submitted there i was shocked,i was sweating because i was advised to fill up new forms and choose my major..and i need to take the BSED and not the BEED because im a second courser..i choose english not math despite the fact that i graduated as BSAccountancy...i hate algebras not the balance sheet..

at that moment i wana surrender already..but it was a challenge...so i fill up the new forms for BSED and choose english as my major..then i took the exam last august 26, 2001...and with Gods grace i passed the board exam..

It is still 18units. I advise you take your 18th units in Government College or University because they have the latest curriculum for professional like you.

Just a clarification and maybe a suggestion for LET examination schedule after April 2009.

I am a second courser and already earned 18 units of post baccalaureate Professional Education courses equivalent to DPE(Republic Act 7836)last summer 2008, I've failed to take the LET exams due to problem of my name. The correction was only made last February 2009. I went to the PRC office here to ask if I am still qualified to take the September 2009 LET exam instead, since I wasn't able to catch up the April 2009 LET exam deadline. Sad to know from the PRC staff that I need to take additional units since April was the last LET exam for the old curriculum except for the second timers. I would just like to clarify, if PRC can give chance for old curriculum second timers to take the exam this September without taking additional units, please consider us also the first timers who already earned these units.

I strongly recommend to enroll in PNU or any government college and universities. They are more credible in terms of units and board exam passing opportunities

I need advice pls. I passed the 2001 let exams in iloilo but was deferred because of a problem in my birth certificate. The same year I transferred to manila to find a job and was only able to fix it on court last 2006. the court order was send to me here in manila via mail. and again because of work i wasn't able to go to prc iloilo to get my license. My question is; could I still get my license after all this years or could it be forfeited by prc? I really wanted to teach even after having jobs not near to teaching. I am a second courser currently taking-up 18 units of Professional Education and qualified to take the 2010 LET. I was personally affected by the humors that second courser with 18 units Prof Educ could no longer take the LET. I suggest that the PRC should once and for all shed light on this issues.

I am also a second courser currently taking up 18 units of prof educ. I believe that the PRC could not just change the 18 units requirements for qualification to take the LET otherwise amendments will be undertaken by the congress in the RA 4670 and oher related laws approved. But still, the PRC should make necessary information on this matter.

Please see requirements for LET examiners posted by PRC in their website. Its still 18 units of prof educ for second courser and its true that the only way to amend an existing law is thru our congress' approval. So, to soon to be maestros and maestras from second courser dont be bothered.

Did you applied directly to school or to the division office.

i strongly recommend you to look for the HS with computers. You applied to the principal so she or he will monitor your papers

I have a friend who's family has been ruined by this IMMORAL TEACHER NAMED KAREN GIL LUCAS BENEDICTO.... I knew that this move should be done by my friend because she's the aggrieved party here, nevertheless, hearing all the pains that she's been undergoing now, really hurts us..This Teacher knew from the very start that the person she's trying to flirt with is a certified married guy, but still pursue her illicit relationship with him. What makes us really flare up is that, she had done wrong already but still has the guts to text my friend messages that will totally destroy her as a person and her relationship with her husband. She's been constantly texting my friend about their plans and so many things that will shatter my friend into pieces...So bad that this person who is a professional teacher, who I believe should possess the highest integrity and morals, is supposed to mold students has been doing all these things and out there to destroy a family and the kids future because of that immoral relationship.
