The University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) Statistical Society invites high school students to participate in ESTADISTIKA 2026: An Annual Invitational Statistics Quiz, Essay Writing, and Poster Making Contests, to be held at UPLB, Laguna on March 14, 2026.
With the theme “ESTAnaw: Ang Sining ng Pagbabago ng Wika at Kultura sa Mata ng Datos,” the event aims to instill the value of statistics among Grades 7–12 learners and to promote excellence in statistics among the youth. In celebration of its 20th year, ESTADISTIKA 2026 invites high schools from all regions of Luzon to participate.

Participation of both public and private schools shall be purely voluntary and shall not disrupt instructional time, in accordance with:

DepEd Order No. 012, s. 2025 (Multi-Year Implementing Guidelines on the School Calendar and Activities),
-
DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 (Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task), and
-
DepEd Order No. 66, s. 2017 (Policy on Off-Campus Activities).
This activity is also subject to the no-collection policy stipulated in Section 3 of Republic Act No. 5546 (Ganzon Law), which prohibits the collection of contributions from students and teachers for any project or purpose.
