The Department of Education is ready for the release of the remaining P3,000 Performance Enhancement Incentive (PEI) to the respective DepEd Regional offices, effective early next week.
“We are now in the process of effecting the transfer of funds to our regional offices for the payment of the remaining bonus,” Education Secretary Jesli Lapus explained. “We thank the Department of Budget and Management for the immediate release of the funds to us.”
DepEd Finance Team expects the bonuses to reach the teachers soon after. Meanwhile, all the regional offices were already instructed to prepare the necessary documents, such as payrolls and checks, for the immediate payment of the remaining P3,000.
“We stand firm in our commitment to our teaching and non-teaching personnel nationwide,” Lapus said. “That is to ensure that they receive their full benefits.” Earlier, DepEd reports it already paid the initial P7,000 bonus from the National Government.

paki explain kung ano yang performance enhancement bonus na 3k? wala kaming natanggap na ganyan? kong ang bonus na yan ay katulad ng natanggap namin na performance bonus ay bakit 2k lang? nasaan ang 1k? nasa mabuting kamay naba yan? magbago naman kayo! hirap na nga kami sa katuturo sa mga bata hindi pa namin matatanggap ang para sa amin!
kawawa naman kaming mga guro!babayaran namin ang mga nawawalang libro ng mga bata kasi hindi pipirmahan ang clearance namin kapag hindi namin binabayaran.ano ba naman yang no payment policy ! bakit ang kapakanan lang ng mga magulang ang iniintindi na alang babayaran ! kami wala ba kaming mga pamilya na yung ibinayad namin sa libro na hindi naman amin ay malaking tulong na yan sa amin!!!
