Dengue O/L Trap Kits and IEC Materials Distribution

The DEPED, DOST and DOH have collaborated to address the dengue problem in the country.

The DOST/DOH  OVI/Larvicidal Trap system had een implemented and rolled out in schools last school year. With the extension of the OL Trap Program this school year 2013-2014, DOST hasd begun the nationwide distribution of free O/L trap kits addressed to the school for placementin the classrooms. Refresher training on the installation and orientation  on the website reporting will soon be scheduled by DOST Region VII

IEC materials like posters, leaflets and comic magazines are also provided by the DOST Region VII to the different school divisions.
