Get real-time Palaro results online
The Department of Education (DepEd) announced that the results of all events
in the Palarong Pambansa to be held in Puerto Princesa on April 20 to 26, 2008
will be available online in the DepEd website immediately after each event – a
first in the history of Palaro’s 60 years.
The DepEd website address is: http://depedschoolsports.wikispaces.com.
“This is a breakthrough in making the Palaro results immediately known to those
who cannot be at the venue physically”, Education Secretary Jesli Lapus said.
Deogracias Genito of DepEd, chair of the Committee on Information,
Communication and Documentation, said the website posting is a big leap
forward from the days when results were known only on the next day.
