Update March 29, 2009.
Yesterday March 28 I write to report about the teacher kidnap in Jolo. This very evening the GMA 7 denied the report the the the teacher is already dead. It is just the captors do not allow the Crisis community to communicate with the victim.
In short the captors the kindnap teacher is still alive and there is no confirmation on her present status.
A Deped Teacher who was kidnapped by the Abu Sayaf in Jolo died in captivity. The group of pirates in Zamboanga Sibugay province and their terrorist partner Abu Sayaf still holding the 2 teachers.
The useless Management Committee (CMC) handling and negotiating for the release of the teachers received information that Noemi Mandi, 38, died while in captivity. It was known already that she just had a medical surgery weeks before she was abducted. Due to frequent movement to avoid the authorities coupled by lack of foods and medicine, she just passed away yesterday.
Condolence to the family of Ma'am Mandi from DepEd Teachers.
