DepEd on the other hand inform the public that school classes continue. The additional 8 new infections in Cebu confirmed now the 12 A (H1N1) cases in Central Visayas, said Dr. Susana Madarieta, DOH 7 Director.

My daughter's school, ST. MARY'S ACADEMY OF PASAY, suspended classes for 10 days allegedly due to 2 cases of H1N1. It just surprised me that it's not included in any of the lists, or in any of the news. Wala akong makita mentioning this school having suspended classes or having a case. I learned it from the school bus operator and I confirmed the suspension with the phone opertaor of the school but they're not confirming na may H1N1 case nga. Nakakainis yung ganung non-disclosure.
My niece is studying in SACRED HEART ACADEMY OF PASIG and their classes are suspended for 10 days, starting from June 26 to July 6 due to two cases of A(H1N1), Grade 3 and Grade 6, who are both confined in Medical City. The whole school is suspended,both Elementary and High School Department. The students were given a lot of homeworks in all subjects good for 10 days. However, I never heard any news about the suspension of the school and it is not included in any of the lists. Wala akong makita mentioning this school having suspended classes or having a case.
