The National Book Development Board will celebrate the 13th Philippines Book Development Month in Nov 2009 with the theme Galin Pinoy, Basahin. This is in line with the PPN. 1436 resetting the celebration of the Philippine Book Development Month from June to Nov this year.
The celebration focuses on the important contributions of books in the economic and social growth of the country. The NBDB has lined up several activities for this celebration such as seminars, story writing contests, book fairs, and extensive info dissemination campaign on TV, Radio and Newspaper. To ensure the success of this event, school and all government agencies are encouraged to actively participate in the celebration.
