The public Administration International will hold a 1 week United Kingdom based study programme on Heritage and Culture: Challenges and Innovation in Public Policy and Practice from June 28 to July 2, 2010.
The study programme aims to:
- broaden participants knowledge and understanding of the issues surrounding heritage and cultural policy.
- Examine the relationships between heritage and culture and other government priorities such as education, housing, tourism development and economic development and
- raise awareness of the issues, opportunities and challenges surrounding heritage and culture and suggest ways in which these can be addressed in different country context.
This is designed mainly for the policy makers and senior experts working in government ministries and agencies and in non governmental organizations concerned with the promotion and funding of heritage conservation and culture.
The fee for the 1 week study programme will be UKD1770 which includes tuition, travel to and from London and other visits scheduled in the programme, meals and living expenses.
