National Leadership Training for Student Goverment Officers

The Deped Center for Students and CO- Curricular Affairs in partnership with the Masters Lighthouse Foundation and the Ateneo Student Trainers will conduct the National Leadership raining for Student Government Officers with the theme "Teamwork Makes the Dream Work" This training will be held on Sept 3-8, 2010 at the Teachers Camp Baguio City.

In general, the aims to develop and/or enhance the management and leadership knowledge, skills and attitudes of the elected Supreme Student Government officers through dynamic plenary sessions, interactive break out sessions and enriched discussion and to provide a venue for sharing best practices int he implementation oft the Student Government Program.

The objectives of the training are;
expose student leaders on various leadership concepts and models and to different leaders and personalities in politics, business and the academe to give them a broader outlook and example its their leadership roles

help stunt leaders understand the intricacies of leading and managing the SSG in their schools

understand and adopt relevant courses of action in response to the new evolving and emerging roles and functions of the SSG

formulate and devise a dynamic, feasible, doable and concrete action plans for implementation in the schools.

share with other participants highlights of best practices in runnng the SSG
harness the potentials of the SSG officers to encourage vibrant and participative studentry of school and community development and as effective partner ot achive quality education and acdemic excellenc and organize the National Federation of SSG for School Eyar 2010-2011.

GREETINGS OF PEACE AND GOODWILL! I'M A CONCERNED STUDENT AND WAS ELECTED AS A STUDENT LEADER FROM RXII, I JUST WANT TO ASK IF ITS REALLY REQUIRED TO HAVE FORMAL ATTIRES AND WHAT SHOULD I PREPARE? I WAS SO PRESSURED BY THIS TIME,BECAUSE THIS WILL BE MY FIRST TIME AND I'M GOING TO REPRESENT MY REGION. HOW COULD I HAVE OR GET ENOUGH INFO ABOUT IT?

we'll be coming there!!! hope it's a safe ride to visit baguio city just like last april in the 2010 yes camp. i'm from masbate national comprehensive high school..i'm hoping to meet new friends and also the old ones i met last yes camp..cecel (from iloilo)..cherry (from cebu)..see you all there.. :)
