Pursuant to Executive Order (EO) No. 2 dated July 23, 2016 entitled Operationalizing in the Executive Branch the People’s Constitutional Right to Information and the State Policies of Full Public Disclosure and Transparency in the Public Service and Providing Guidelines Therefor, this Department issues the enclosed Department of Education People’s Freedom of Information (FOI) Manual and Implementing Details, which shall be known as Department of Education People’s FOI Manual of 2016, together with EO 2.
This Order shall take effect immediately upon publication online at www.deped.gov.ph.
Immediate dissemination of and compliance with this Order is directed.
