Pangasinan Guarantee A Fair Officiating in Palarong Pambansa

 This is the announcement of Education Secretary Br. Armin Luistro FSC during the putting their signature to of the memorandum of understanding amongst the department and this year's sponsor the provincial government of Pangasinan represented by Governor Amado T. Espino, Jr.

Luistro said the office will seriously pursue the effort to make the Palaro an environment-friendly event by wanting food caterers to eliminate plastic and styrofor in the preparation of meals. "We began this in Dipolog, Zamboanga recently, we will get it done better this season," said Luistro.

On another clean aspect, Luistro announced that the DepEd will guarantee that player screening and games officiating is going to be clean and reasonable to all in keeping with the real spirit of the sporting event.

"The Palaro is a venue for values development among our junior, this is why positive Filipino values should apply," he explained.

Luistro added that your Palaro should not be made a once-a- year event but a relentless activity to really develop the athletic prowess and sportsmanship of the young. Likewise, the games venue ought not to be so constructed as to last for just a year. "It should be made to last a long time so that many players can use it for a ongoing sports program."

The 2012 Palarong Pambansa is set from May 6 to 12, 2012 to generally be took part in by elementary and secondary learners from public and private institutions.
